Dr. John Christbridge Academy and Empowering Lives International Partner to Help Orphans in Kenya
Azusa, CA, November 11, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Dr. John Christbridge Academy, a private Christian School located in Azusa City, east of Los Angeles, California, has become one with Empowering Lives International, a global organization empowering Kenyans who are suffering from the violent ethnic conflicts plaguing the country.
In a formal partnership, Dr. John Christbridge Academy has pledged to contribute to ELI in its efforts – along with numerous other partners and volunteers – “to help thousands of suffering people find the pathway to empowerment and spiritual transformation.”
"Thank you so much for your contribution to our ministry! Because of your partnership, orphans and other children in Kenya will be able to keep going to school and fulfill God's calling on their lives. What an amazing gift,” said Erin McLaughlin, Office Administrator for ELI, on the newfound partnership with the Dr. John Christbridge Academy.
Established in 1981, Christbridge Academy offers kindergarten through 12th grade. The school administrators, in their aspiration to shape their own students into empowered and happy individuals, found it imperative to do their share for the kids in Kenya who have no parents to care for them, and whose lives are practically being ruined by the ethnic wars.
ELI, in its efforts to help the Kenyan children, has put up training centres, children’s homes, as well as a school for orphans. The organization is also implementing programs to help adults become better skilled individuals and bring their lives back through entrepreneurship.
Through the partnership, the Dr. John Christbridge Academy and ELI seek to raise more hope for Kenyan kids.
