Now, this sounds like some sort of fantasyland to me - but it isn't just something my imagination has conjured up, I promise you - the 'World Chocolate Dream Park' really is in the works in Beijing, China - and how the workers are building it without eating it everything is anyone's guess...

Beijing, China has come over all Willy Wonka and started to plan a chocolate factory to cater to the country's chocoholics.

Not only will the park have an edible Great Wall of China, it will also boast a life-size chocolate Terracotta Army and versions of famous paintings. Yum!

Built in the vein of Roald Dahl's famous children's book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the theme park is due to open its (chocolate?!) doors in January 2010, and will be located in the Olympic Green, which also includes the iconic Bird's Nest stadium and the Water Cube aquatics centre used during the Beijing Summer Games last year.

Tina Cheng, General Manager of the company that will operate the Beijing park, said, "Our 'chocolate wonderland' will be beyond the imagination."

Well known chocolate makers from all over the world have already expressed an interest in taking part in the project and helping to create some of the tasty attractions.
