Kevin brings a wealth of financial and business expertise to the organization based on more than 30 years of experience in the financial industry.
"We are thrilled to have Kevin join the executive committee of Children's Well-Being Foundation," said Jennifer Tegan, executive director, Children's Well-Being Foundation. "His organizational, leadership and management skills hewn during his professional years will assist us during these transformational days as a growing and evolving charity."
Kevin joins Children's Well-Being Foundation following his career at Vision Government Solutions in Northborough, Mass. He bought the organization in 1995 and was chief executive officer of the business until 2008. After retiring in 2011, Kevin remains as the chairman of the board of directors.
In the early years of Children Without Borders, Kevin was actively involved as a donor and organizer, often offering his home for fundraising events. Recently, Kevin and his wife, Elisabeth, joined the organization's founder, Dr. George Whitelaw, on a trip to Costa Rica. During their trip, he was able to tour all of the primary and critical care clinics the organization operates for the poor in the San Jose metro area.
"After hearing for several years about the work in Costa Rica, seeing the clinics for myself further convinced me that the organization has done great things and is on the verge of continued growth in size and depth," said Kevin. "I am excited for the future and my involvement with Children's Well-Being Foundation as we take these next steps."
