Chicago Tribune Recognizes eFinancial as a Top Workplace in 2021
CHICAGO, November 8, 2021 (Newswire.com) - The Chicago Tribune has named eFinancial one of the Top Workplaces of 2021. This award honors organizations that have high employee satisfaction and a collaborative culture that encourages growth.
The Top Workplaces award recognizes 200 large, mid-size, and small companies in the Chicago area. The list is solely based on employee feedback from surveys conducted by Energage LLC, an employee engagement technology company. Employees rated their experience on a range of topics including work-life balance, communication, and career opportunities.

The Methodology
Operating on behalf of the Chicago Tribune, Energage LLC conducts employee surveys each year for the Top Workplaces awards. Energage conducts the surveys to get a broad understanding of employees' viewpoints on the company culture. The surveys are done completely online, and all employee responses are anonymous.
The Top Workplaces survey measures 15 drivers of engaged cultures that help ensure organizational success, including alignment, connection, and execution. Employees responded to statements on a wide range of topics, including work-life balance, communication, confidence in company leadership, and career opportunities. Organizations that score well for these drivers tend to have a more engaged workplace and better business results.
Energage's survey measures statements using the seven-point Likert scale, from "Strongly Disagree" to "Neutral" to "Strongly Agree." Energage only shows results that are aggregate of at least five employees.
