Chicago Sun-Times Announces Partnership With Chicago Bears

Chicago Sun-Times today announced that it has become a Proud Partner of the Chicago Bears, deepening its existing commitment to Chicago sports.

As two of Chicago’s premier organizations, the Bears and the Sun-Times share a rich history and have educated, inspired and entertained Chicago for decades. Now, they are entering into a partnership to serve the community together.

The Sun-Times is already a leader in sports coverage, bringing Chicago best-in-class sports reporting and an all-sports paper called Sports Saturday. This new Bears partnership further establishes the Sun-Times’ relationship with local sports and opens up new opportunities for readers and fans.

“We’re looking forward to deepening our relationship with the Sun-Times through this partnership, which joins two historic Chicago organizations,” says Doug Carnahan, Vice President of Corporate Partnerships at the Chicago Bears.

“The Sun-Times is a leader in local politics, breaking news and, of course, sports,” says Interim CEO Nykia Wright. “We live and breathe sports because our city lives and breathes sports — Chicago fans are second to none. We are so excited to become a proud partner of the Chicago Bears, and we can’t wait to cheer alongside our readers this season.”
