Cheryl Ehlers And The Stardust Arts Recognized By California State Assembly
Online, September 29, 2010 (Newswire.com) - The California State Assembly recognized The Stardust Arts Program in August 2010 for the contributions and commitment to art for the youth.
After serving 1790 Students in a year long program in the Oceanside Unified School District, sponsored funded by a grant from The Kenneth A. Picerne Foundation, Senior Arts Program, The City Of Oceanside, Arts Commission,the San Dieguito Women's Club of Encinitas and the NAAWA of Oceanside, The Stardust Arts was an astounding success.
Fueled by the energies and determination of Cheryl Ehlers, Founder, Artist and Art Instructor, to give back to the community the students received professional instruction and gained confidence and the belief that anything "is" possible, if you simply try.
Comments from the principals of some of the schools promoting art have stated. "We Are a Visual and performing art school, and of all the art instruction we have had on our campus, the Stardust Arts program is by far the most elite and comprehensive. It has no peer." Today the Stardust Arts Program in moving in a forward direction and continues art instruction to under served and those students that want to participate in art enrichment.
Stardust is seeking a fiscal partner with an outstanding reputation to to embrace an upcoming creation for a North County Art Program that will be available to all students in the schools.
