CALDWELL, N.J., November 17, 2021 (Newswire.com) - CENTURY 21 Cedarcrest Realty, Inc. is encouraging residents from Essex and Passaic counties and surrounding areas to support neighbors in need by donating new, boxed, unwrapped toys and games for the annual U.S. Marines Toys for Tots toy and fund drive. Residents can drop off donations at Cedarcrest Realty's office at 460 Bloomfield Avenue in Caldwell until December 11. Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on weekdays and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
This is the 14th year in a row that the award-winning real estate brokerage is a host site for the charitable endeavor. Donations are requested for children from babies to teens. Bruno Marino and Scott Mackin from the Cedarcrest Realty team, who are heading up the entire effort, will deliver the items to the Marines at the Picatinny Arsenal in Rockaway for distribution to less fortunate families and children through various non-profit organizations.
"My associates and I feel strongly about giving back to others in the communities we serve and are honored to support Toys for Tots every year," said John Sass, broker/owner of CENTURY 21 Cedarcrest Realty. "In addition to toys and games, we also encourage our neighbors to consider giving a monetary donation on the Toys for Tots website, www.toysfortots.org, to brighten the holidays for families in need."
The objectives of Toys for Tots are:
- To help less fortunate children experience the joy of Christmas
- To play an active role in the development of one of our nation's most valuable resources—our children
- To unite all members of local communities in a common cause for three months each year during the annual toy collection and distribution campaign
- And to contribute to better communities in the future.
