The honorees were selected via a peer survey sent by the magazine to over 1,500 local financial and fiduciary firms. The surveys rate the top financial professionals in the broker, financial planner, insurance adviser, and tax accountant fields. Northern Virginia Magazine selected 93 individuals as the Top Financial Professionals of 2017. In the Top Investment Advisers field, 33 individuals were selected; out of the 33, Centurion Wealth Management claimed 3 spots.
