Celebrity Wedding Producer William Miller Takes Jack and Jill National Convention to New Heights

About The Event
Inspired by the celebration of Love, Legacy, and Power, the 43rd convention will inspire and lay foundations for future leaders. The seven-day convention will consist of leadership seminars, financial workshops as well as of an array of entertainment and notable participants such as GRAMMY Award winner Babyface, The 60th Mayor of the City Atlanta, Keisha Lance Bottoms, Comedian D.L. Hughes and Kim Coles as well as Actor Keith David. The leadership development opportunities include the JMB Teen Leadership Summit and the Marion Stubbs Thomas Leadership Academy designed for emerging and experienced leaders.
Guests will also enjoy workshops including The Power of the Purse and Little Black Dress Affair. In addition to professional opportunities, festivities will celebrate the history of the community. Visits to a few notable Kansas City landmarks are a big part of the convention agenda with visits to include the Jack and Jill 80th Anniversary Museum, Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, and American Jazz Museum.
The convention will with have several fun functions, kicking off the convention will be the Shabby Chic Welcome Party and continuing with entertainment events that include a themed party, Adventures in OZ - A Cool & Classy Night, in the Historic Union Station. Entertainment will also feature a concert by Kennedy "Babyface" Edmonds and a performance by D.L. Hughley. To conclude the successful event and celebrations will be the Black and White Closing Gala.
