"March is Reading Month" is the perfect time to get your students and children involved in animal compassion. Max's Animal Compassion Curriculum (MACC) is an inspirational and thought-provoking curriculum based on the children's book titled "Max, the Shelter Dog." As one 1st grader shouted, "That's a great story!"

MACC is geared towards 1st - 3rd graders and is happy to accommodate children with Special Needs. It helps Teachers, Home Schoolers, Girl and Boy Scout leaders, Parents and Educators of all types bring animal compassion into the classroom. It teaches children the importance of adopting from shelters, inspires them to take action to help a homeless animal in need, and helps build character and confidence by having the children help, and possibly save, another being.

MACC is here to help you, the educator, teach animal compassion in an easy, fun and engaging way, through the story of an unsung hero named Max.
