Celebrate and Support 30 Years of Art at the Art Gallery of Mississauga Annual Fine Art Auction on April 27

Our 30th Anniversary Auction offers a curated selection of original artworks by iconic and up-and-coming regional artists.

The Art Gallery of Mississauga Annual Fine Art Auction is the not-to-be-missed art event in Mississauga. Once again, with the generous support of Lead Sponsor Square One Shopping Centre, the AGM is thrilled to host a stellar fundraising event at C Banquets on the 12th Floor of the Mississauga Civic Centre, offering a fantastic line-up of auction artworks, cocktail hour and live entertainment with Stephen Ranger, Vice President Business Development at Waddington's as our dynamic auctioneer! We're also celebrating the AGM's 30th anniversary, which makes this event even more spectacular!

To mark our 30th Anniversary, we are offering a selection of Limited Edition pieces by Canadian artists who have had exhibitions at the AGM over the years. The Annual Fine Art Auction is the biggest event of the year for the AGM and also its primary fundraiser, in support of nationally recognized exhibitions and innovative programs, all with free admission at Mississauga's public gallery. Get your tickets!

"It continues to be our mandate to bring unexpected and culturally relevant experiences to Square One," says Square One Shopping Centre General Manager Greg Taylor. "With the Art Gallery of Mississauga, we have been able to showcase artwork from many engaging voices of the art world, and unveil exhibitions that enhance our guests' shopping experience while exposing them to the work of national and international world-class artists. We are proud to be their partners, thrilled to be a lead sponsor of their upcoming Annual Fine Art Auction, and excited to celebrate their impressive 30-year history of bringing arts and culture to Square One and the wider community."

"For those who have visited my legal offices, it is clear that I always have my eye on potential new additions to my art collection. The best place in Mississauga (besides my office) to see cutting edge art is the AGM, and for those planning to acquire great art locally, the best place to do so is our AGM art auction on April 27!

At last year's auction, I won the bidding war to acquire a masterpiece by Ed Pien, one of Canada's best established artists. That purchase has garnered frequent praise from clients visiting my office and I hope to nab an equally promising one this year! I urge you all to join me!"

- Stan Zigelstein, Board Chair, Art Gallery of Mississauga

"Happy Birthday AGM! 30 years strong and building! For the past 14 years, the AGM has proudly offered the only high-level fine art auction experience in the Mississauga area, with a mission to bring together artists and people who love art. A recent survey carried out by University College London concluded that looking at beautiful works of art has the same impact on the brain as falling in love. I encourage you all to continue with or begin your own love affair by securing one of the incredible works of art offered at this important sale.

The AGM's Auction offers a diverse selection of contemporary art and celebrates the institution's 30th year of award-winning and critically acclaimed exhibitions by both emerging and established artists. With the generous support of our Lead Sponsor Square One Shopping Centre, the AGM is expanding its audiences and engaging our community in new and innovative ways. The auction presents a great snapshot of Canadian art and reflects many of the incredible artists who have exhibited with the AGM during its past 30 years. I invite you all to come and fall in love and ensure that all of these incredible works of art go to new collections in support of the AGM's powerful curatorial and educational programmes."
