CARE Awards Honor Young Stars- The Pink Army Girls Receive Awards and Walk the Red Carpet

Pink Army, an up-and-coming tween pop trio currently working with Producer and 17x platinum songwriter Eddie Galan, will be receiving CARE awards at the Child Actor Recognition event at Universal Studios, Hollywood. All 3 members will be honored.

March 1, 2010- The 6th Annual CARE awards will be held on March 14, 2010 to recognize Hollywood's young stars that are promoting a positive public image. Awardees are selected based on criteria that include a 3.0 Grade Point Average, good citizenship, a written essay, and community service.
Pink Army is the latest tween group to hit the music circuit by storm. They released their first EP in 2009 and are currently working on their full-length album with producer and 17x platinum songwriter, Eddie Galan. Their many performance credits include one of 4 bands nationally selected to play at Legoland's New Years Eve Celebration and a spot on the acclaimed P.A.C.E. Educational Music Tour.
Pink Army is passionate about giving back to the community. They have a partnership with the San Diego Chapter of the Ronald McDonald House. The girls perform several shows per year for this charity and donate signed Pink Army CDs to each child.
The Pink Army girls collectively have over 20 years of performance experience.
Alicia Randolph (the face of this summer's Radio Disney National Ad Campaign) has appeared in numerous films, television appearances, commercials, and print ads. Lia Marie Johnson has also been in several films, national commercials, and stage performances. Additionally, Charisma Kain has film credits, several national commercials, and theater credits that include the world renowned Old Globe Theater.
The red carpet event honoring these spectacular young actors will be held March 14, 2010 at Universal Studios Hollywood.
