Caravan Coffee names Amy Purcell as new Coffee Steward

Newberg, OR - June 21, 2010 - Caravan Coffee, a specialty coffee roaster in the Willamette Valley, has named Amy Purcell as its new Coffee Steward.
Ms. Purcell, who has eight years of experience in the coffee industry, will be responsible for fostering relationships with wholesale clients, promoting new products and increasing Caravan's network of customers. Caravan, which has focused mainly on the Northwest will extend its efforts across the nation. Ms. Purcell will lead this expansion.

Ms. Purcell is a graduate of the University of Oregon, where she graduated with a double major in Journalism and French. Before joining Caravan, Ms. Purcell worked in a dynamic coffee shop, where she built meaningful customer relationships while discovering and meeting their coffee needs.
Ms. Purcell is a published writer, writing most recently for Portland Spaces magazine and Flux magazine.
