Car Accident Attorney William Mattar Announces the Grand Prize Winner of Annual Pet Photo Contest
SYRACUSE, N.Y., December 7, 2020 (Newswire.com) - We are pleased to announce that Demi, a two-and-a-half-year-old Mountain Cur mix, is the grand prize winner of the William Mattar Rescue a Shelter Animal Pet Photo Contest. The winning photo was submitted by Demi's owner Phil Galuppi of Liverpool, New York. Demi's winning photo submission received 2,298 votes.

In November 2020, the public submitted their pet(s) photos for a chance to win a donation to an animal shelter or rescue group of their choice. The grand prize winner, Demi and her owner Phil, have chosen Paws for the Cause Rescue Inc., in Rome, New York, to receive a monetary donation on behalf of William Mattar. Demi was rescued by Phil from Paws for the Cause Rescue Inc., which is a not-for-profit dog rescue whose mission is to house and care for dogs and puppies that are at a high risk of euthanasia due to overpopulation. Paws for the Cause Rescue is committed to finding loving adoptive homes for these animals and helping prevent animal cruelty.
