Harrod Ventures announces the launch of its patent-pending product, the Candle Puffer, a great solution for mothers who want their birthday child to blow out the candles without spitting on the cake. Blowing out birthday candles is an age-old tradition, but as members of our society become more conscious of spreading germs and sickness, e.g. the fist-bump, mothers have been looking for a fun alternative. The Candle Puffer looks a lot like a party horn, but it consists of two parts-a whistle, which attaches to a battery-operated fan that draws in clean air to extinguish the candles.

Owner, Ky Harrod, describes the inspiration for this new product: "My wife and I have five kids so we've been to a lot of birthday parties. And every time the birthday boy or girl blows out the candles we cringe. On the one hand it's funny to watch them struggle to blow out the candles, spitting on the cake, but to most people it's disgusting-complete unappetizing, which is a shame because oftentimes, mom has gone to a lot of trouble to provide a nice cake."

This is not the first time Harrod has brought a new product to the market. Several years ago, while coaching his son's soccer team, he asked his wife to look for a trophy with flashing lights-something fun and different than the traditional trophies already on his son's shelf. When she couldn't find one, he worked with a manufacturer to develop the new product and won the Best New Trophy Award at a large trade show in Las Vegas. Harrod says, "My wife and I are big fans of the ABC show, Shark Tank. And every time we watch the show we're inspired to develop another new product-to take all the lessons I've learned from past experiences and apply them in order to hopefully offer something new that's eventually enjoyed by millions of people. Maybe the Candle Puffer will be it."

The Candle Puffer is available online at www.CandlePuffer.com.
