Companies at all stages of growth need a dedicated team of advisors to build, enhance and reform their business, and no one in the Greater Philadelphia area has more experience in building advisory boards than Candida Toccia Seasock.

Seasock, a longtime executive and CEO advisor, has formed a new organization, Executive Leaders for Advisory Boards, that includes 45 select company founders, owners, corporate officers, entrepreneurs, and global leaders.

“Six years ago, one of my clients asked me for help in building an advisory board for his business,” said Seasock. “I was already well-known for building non-profit boards in the Philadelphia region, and I am very familiar with building and maintaining a board. Knowing many people who were on boards, I started Executive Leaders for Advisory Boards by bringing these talented executives together for a meeting in 2014."

“A true advisory board serves a growing business by sharing culture and a mindset, as well as by being open to collaboration and true discussion,” Seasock added. “Our group is unique in Philadelphia because we are bringing different disciplines together with a common goal, free to exchange thoughts and ideas in an honorable exchange of information.”

The organization’s vision is to help small, mid, and enterprise-level companies across the Mid-Atlantic region effectively build their advisory boards at all stages of business growth.

Executive Leaders for Advisory Boards is based in Greater Philadelphia and serves the Mid-Atlantic region and beyond with global experience and perspective.

A unique feature of the new Executive Leaders for Advisory Boards is their monthly Growth Company Catalyst, in which a business owner presents to a select team of professionals in an open forum to discuss ways to move their business forward.

The Growth Company Catalyst gives companies with no exposure to, or experience with, an advisory board a chance to see how an advisory board can help, by presenting their model to our advisors for advice as well as foster follow-up,” Seasock said.

“We bring together an exceptional group of select company founders, owners, corporate officers, entrepreneurs, and global executive leaders, all of whom are highly accomplished, successful, and organized to serve small, mid, and enterprise level companies at all stages of growth,” said Seasock.

Since first identifying the need in 2014, the Board has been involved in interviewing advisors, by invitation only, who bring trusted insights across all industries and functional business areas.

The depth of the group includes advisors with extensive experience in Business Development (Sales Channels, Acquisitions, Divestitures); Finance (Accounting, Investment Strategy, Finance); Insurance; Legal; Marketing and Public Relations; Operations; Organization Development (Executive Coaching, HR); Strategy Development & Planning; and Technology.

Seasock has been an executive at IBM, Deloitte, Grant Thornton, Unisys, and CoreStates, among others, serving in roles including Chief Financial Officer, Chief Information Officer, and Business Development, before starting her third consulting business. She is best known for her work in building high-value market recognition for mid-size companies. She understands how to quickly generate business opportunities, identifies revenue streams, and develop marketing cycles.

The “unofficial” headquarters for Executive Leaders for Advisory Boards is the Rittenhouse Hotel in Center City Philadelphia, where Seasock has met with innumerable business leaders from across the Greater Philadelphia community. It is said that if you are an executive in Philadelphia and you don’t know her, that you should, as her word is gold in Philadelphia.

The new Executive Leaders for Advisory Boards website, available at http://www.Advisory-Boards.org, includes profiles of the 45 advisors that form the core membership of this group of elite executives, as well as information on how to build an advisory board and other resources.

Members of the group are available for Advisory Board Service, Board Service, or to fill an empty seat at your organization’s executive table as an Advisory Consultant. Over 45 advisors offer their expertise in an extensive range of disciplines that include Business Development, Finance, Insurance, Legal, Marketing & PR, Operations, Organization Development, Strategy Development & Planning, and Technology. Additional information is available at http://www.Advisory-Boards.org as well as on LinkedIn.
