Canada's Island Garden Announces Supply Agreement With Province of Prince Edward Island
Canada's Island Garden is proud to announce a newly formed supply agreement with the Province of Prince Edward Island.
CHARLOTTETOWN, Prince Edward Island, January 18, 2018 (Newswire.com) - “The province is very pleased to partner with Canada's Island Garden in securing a safe supply of cannabis for the PEI market. Islanders who choose to partake in recreational cannabis in PEI can be confident that the products available to them will be safe, of high-quality, and provided through licenced suppliers committed to cannabis education and responsible use.” - Minister Heath MacDonald
Canada's Island Garden is very excited to be working with the province of Prince Edward Island. Being an Island-based company, it has always been a goal of the company's to cater to Islanders. By partnering with the Province, Canada's Island Garden will ensure that recreational cannabis is introduced to Islanders in a safe and strictly controlled manner. As legalization emerges, we look forward to working with the Province to promote the responsible consumption of cannabis here on the Island.
This supply agreement will ensure that Islanders have access to our cannabis products; which are produced right here in Charlottetown. Canada's Island Garden is confident that the local market will be very pleased with the products that we produce. Customers can rest assured that our products offered through the Province will be of the highest quality.
Canada’s Island Garden has recently had their licence amended in order to allow for the production of cannabis oil. The company has purchased and installed an oil extraction lab from Advanced Extraction Systems, an Island-based subsidiary of DME (Diversified Metal Engineering).
“This is a huge step for our company, and it has been great to work alongside another Island-based company to follow this process through to completion. Oil extracts are a very important component of the cannabis market. Our current clients are patiently waiting for our oil products to become available, and we look forward to providing them with an alternative to flowered product soon. Along with this, for the upcoming recreational market, this will provide customers who wish to stay away from smoking a viable alternative for consuming cannabis. There are also many other oil-based product alternatives that we are excited to explore down the road; as the recreational industry progresses. As we move ahead, we will continue to improve our company in order to meet the demands of our existing clients, as well as the incoming recreational market. While we look forward to these new opportunities, we will continue to maintain the same emphasis on the quality and safety of our products that has brought us to where we are today.” – President, Edwin Jewell
