Canada Cartage Wins Cargill Contract
Online, April 10, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Canada Cartage, the largest provider of dedicated trucking fleets in Canada has been awarded a contract from Cargill to provide transportation services for their beef processing facility in Guelph, Ontario.
Cargill made the decision to re-engineer their transportation services last October and looked at a number of companies. "In the end, we partnered with Canada Cartage for our transportation requirements based on our existing relationship, their experience in the food industry, and their competitive pricing. Partnering with a dedicated fleet provider allows us to focus on our main objective, which is to provide high quality beef products to our customers" says Matt Gibney, General Manager of Cargill.
Canada Cartage and Cargill began working together in February 2013 to transport goods to small retail stores as well as large national grocery chains.
"We are very pleased to be working with Cargill as their primary transport carrier in the Guelph region. As always, we are committed to delivering unparalleled dedication, accountability and leadership." says Jeff Lindsay, President and CEO of Canada Cartage.
With 99 years of experience and forward thinking solutions, Canada Cartage is the trusted provider of dedicated trucking fleets and complementary last-mile logistics solutions.
