CAMMS Teams Up With Expert to Deliver Insight Into Best Practice Governance, Risk and Compliance

GRC Expert Greg Goodman joins CAMMS to hold a workshop to explain how organisations can implement entity-wide Governance, Risk and Compliance.

CAMMS has partnered with expert Greg Goodman to offer a workshop that explores Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) from a practitioner’s perspective in Sydney on the 17th of September 2015.

Understanding that many organisations are struggling to manage calls for increased global operational efficiency and reduced costs, and new government regulations and compliance mandates, CAMMS has united with industry expert Greg Goodman to address integrated GRC, the hot topic of the new age.

Australian organisations have accepted that failing to establish an effective GRC process would lead to costly and occasionally dire results, yet with very few reference points they struggle to find the right process or ensure their GRC system does not fail. It is this knowledge gap that must first be addressed.

Despite the rise in software enabled GRC and high investments in risk management and compliance, organisations have limited precedent on implementing an effective organisation-wide GRC process. Goodman has for over 3 decades been one of Australia's leading advisors on GRC having worked with organisations such as Westpac, Brookfield Multiplex, Morgan Stanley and Babcock and Brown.

Adam Collins, CAMMS Director says, “We strongly believe in the importance of best practice and integrated GRC and empowering organisations to implement sustainable processes. It’s great to have an experienced expert like Goodman on board.”

The workshop provides attendees the opportunity to speak to Goodman on specific issues affecting their organisations and discuss workshop topics in depth. It will be followed by a networking session.

"Australian organisations have accepted that failing to establish an effective GRC process would lead to costly and occasionally dire results, yet with very few reference points they struggle to find the right process or ensure their GRC system does not fail. It is this knowledge gap that must first be addressed," explains Greg Goodman, Managing Director, Compliance Australia.
