C-Suite Quarterly Releases List of 100 Top LA Philanthropies

C-Suite Quarterly, LA-based business leadership and luxury lifestyle magazine releases its highly anticipated 2016 Phil 100 List - a compendium of the 100 Greater LA charities to know.

In the spirit of thanks and charitable giving, C-Suite Quarterly has released its annual Philanthropy 100 List, or “Phil 100.” For the fourth consecutive year, CSQ highlights the Greater LA charities you should know. The comprehensive list, culled from more than 1,000 nominations, was published in CSQ’s Fall 2016 Philanthropy, Art, & Culture edition, with CSQ Visionary of the Year Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong, founder and CEO of NantWorks, on the cover.

The 2016 PHIL 100 featured organizations across a bevy of categories, including those championing the arts, homelessness and housing, education, and human rights. This year, Human Services nonprofits such as Casa Pacifica Center for Children and Families and the American Red Cross of Central California represented the majority of organizations with 24 distinct inclusions. Culture and Humanities ranked second with 17 listings.

The 2016 PHIL 100 featured organizations across a bevy of categories, including those championing the arts, homelessness and housing, education, and human rights.

Every year CSQ solicits nominations from their community and subscriber network of C-Suite executives, next generation entrepreneurs (NextGen 10s), and C-Suite Advisors to compile a comprehensive and diverse representation candidate pool. The selection process factors in elements such as community impact, reputation, and, ratings from trusted third-party sources such as Charity Navigator and Great Non-profits. In 2016, CSQ received more than 1,000 nominations representing more than 400 unique nonprofits. This year, 41 organizations made the Phil 100 list for their first time.
