BuydirectUSA.com will give honor to those who are in VA hospitals by creating care packages of personal items they need while getting treatment. "We began this program last year after learning that many of the basic needs of our vets were not being provided," Palmer continued.

Veterans who are being treated do not have time to wait on bureaucrats in Washington to figure out how to help them. Last Year BuyDirectUSA.com did not meet its goal, but was able to help many veterans receive care packages consisting of: soap, soap holder, toothbrush holder, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, razors and shaving cream all in a plastic carrying case for easy storage. Female veterans also received care packages containing appropriate items.

While these items are available to purchase in the hospital, many veterans do not have the resources to purchase these essentials.

All products sent were "Made in the USA with the exception of the soap holder and toothbrush holder. While our goal was to provide 100% Made in the USA products to our Veterans, we came extremely close to the goal. Our hopes are to find a USA manufacturer who produces the soap & toothbrush holders this year.

Our goal is to raise $1000.00 by June 25, 2010 in order to help make care packages to give to Veterans who are being cared for in a VA Hospital.

BuyDirectUSA.com will donate 10% of all purchases that ship from May 25, 2010 through June 25th 2010 to reach this goal.
