Busy Breathers Now Available on Walgreens.com
Online, August 1, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Denver, Colo. - Denver-based mom-founded company Busy Breathers, LLC announced today the launch of its product nationally on Walgreens.com.
Busy Breathers is an oxygen tank-carrying backpack that helps people who need to be on oxygen as well as mothers whose young children need to be on oxygen. Currently, the product is available at 73 Walgreens locations across northern Colorado.
Founder Michelle Staley first developed the initial idea for Busy Breathers when her son was born three months premature and was treated in the neonatal intensive care unit of Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center in Denver for four months. After her son was released, he still needed to be on oxygen for two years, so Staley developed the Busy Breathers backpack to make it more convenient for her to juggle her toddler and an oxygen tank.
"The national release of this product through Walgreens means that it can help so many more people," said Staley. "I needed this product, so I know that it can dramatically help mothers with a child who needs to be on oxygen. With 500,000 babies born prematurely and millions of adults who must be on oxygen, I expect the launch of Busy Breathers nationally to be well received."
The Busy Breather backpacks are available in the baby and home medical sections of Walgreens.com.
