The Child Dental Benefits Schedule commended on the 1st of January, 2014 and provides basic and preventative dental care for children aged between 2 and 17. Each child is entitled to $1, 000 over a two year period.
A family eligibility is assessed at the beginning of each year and lasts the whole calendar year. A child is eligible if they are:
- aged between 2-17 years
- eligible for Medicare
- part of a family receiving Family Tax Benefit A
