Builders Expo to Boost Kenyan Construction Industry

The 2nd Kenya Building Materials Expo will boost the construction sector by providing better investment and business opportunities for business communities.

The second Kenya Building Materials Expo scheduled for November 9 to 12 in Nairobi at the KICC will boost the construction sector by providing better investment and business opportunities for local and international business communities.

Now in its second year, the exhibition organized by the Turkel Fair Organization will be attended by more than 60 exhibitors from Kenya, Turkey, Egypt, Italy, Japan, South Africa and United Arab Emirates who will show case various products and services in the building and construction industry. The exhibitors include exporters, manufacturing associations, real estate investors, provincial investment agencies, chamber of commerce and industry and high-profile industry decision makers.

Hellen Ndaiga, the editor of ConstructionKenya.com, the leading digital resource for the Kenyan construction industry, is excited about the event saying it will also offer a platform to network and explore business opportunities.

"The 2nd Kenya Building Materials Expo will serve as a platform to explore business opportunities, network, interact, form alliances, enhance export and import, consult with industry experts, display innovative products, technology and services," says Ms Ndaiga.

The first edition of Kenya Building Materials Exhibition was held in December 2009 and attracted 50 exhibitors on a net area of 1500 sqm. It hosted 3,200 visitors from mainly Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.
