After the economic slowdown, the USD 5 billion group is focussed on markets like India, Brazil, Russia and Vietnam for growth.

On a global level, Brother is confident of clocking USD 5.7 billion in revenues for FY2014. It follows April-March fiscal. Further, it expects to reach the USD 7.5 billion milestone by 2015.

In India, Brother International India is focussed on the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and Small Office/Home Office (SOHO) users.

It launched three new mono laser products today and said it aims to capture over 15 per cent of the mono laser category in the country by 2015.

"The mono laser printer market in India is about 1.7 million units and we have about four per cent share. We have to increase this to 15 per cent by 2015 and 25 per cent by 2017. We are launching new products keeping in mind the needs of the SME and SOHO users," Brother International India MD Yoshiji Matsui said.

Brother is in process of expanding its distribution network and service points in the Indian market to reach more customers, he added.

The new range comprises one single function laser printer priced at about Rs 5,000 and two multifunction printers priced at Rs 9,090 and Rs 13,100.
