Bringhub To Change How Publishers Monetize Content Through Commerce

Bringhub today announced the upcoming release of its new “Evergreen Core” algorithm for publishers, a proprietary technology that eliminates missed purchases due to out-of-stock merchandise. With this product, readers can click the “Buy” call-to-action button embedded within ads and editorial posts to purchase products directly from a retailer or brand, without ever leaving a publisher’s site.

Bringhub's "Evergreen Core” ensures items are in stock via a proprietary algorithm that searches for exact matches from participating retail partners and also alerts these same retailers when items are low. Additionally, the “Evergreen Core” algorithm utilizes dozens of data points to suggest new products to consumers when a specific item may have been discontinued. For the first time ever, ecommerce income can be earned on publishers’ long-tail content.

We're already seeing 300% increases in sales with the bringhub universal cart in tests.

"We’re already seeing 300% increases in sales with the bringhub universal cart in tests," said Brian Marvin, co-founder and chief marketing officer. "Coupled with the new “Evergreen Core” algorithm, we expect the LTV of content to increase exponentially.”

Adding value to retailer operations is paramount to Bringhub. Dominik Patelides, co-founder and CEO, said, “Because we are seeing orders across multiple retailers, we can provide real-time forecast alerts to our partners when it is nearing time to secure additional products based on actual purchase activity patterns.” He also added, “This significantly lessens the risk of reordering a product only to find out that the demand is no longer present.”

The bringhub universal cart with “Evergreen Core” integration will roll out publicly in early October. Publishers and retailers can go to www.bringhub.com to sign up in advance of the launch.
