TV show Innovations with Ed Begley Jr. will go behind the scenes to learn more about Break the Cycle's comprehensive dating abuse prevention programs.

Break the Cycle is excited to announce that on Monday, October 20th, 2014 at 7:30 a.m. PT Innovations with Ed Begley Jr. will break down Break the Cycle's comprehensive dating abuse prevention programs. This segment will focus on the practical help and information Break the Cycle provides to teens and young adults. These programs teach the warning signs of abuse, how to properly navigate through the legal system, and provides the tools needed for safer and healthier relationships.

Loveisrespect, a partnership between Break the Cycle and the National Domestic Violence Hotline, with the help of Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans in Illinois, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas inspire young people to start talking about healthy relationships.

The new Start Talking curriculum from loveisrespect is an innovative step forward in dating violence prevention education. From peer-led discussions, opportunities for participants to contribute their opinions and loveisrespect’s interactive tools integrated throughout the program, students will allow students to define relationships in their own words and discover for themselves what it means to have a safe and healthy relationship.
