BP Auto Spares India Gives an Insight on the Yet-to-Be Launched Tata Nexon

The CEO of BP Auto Spares India, a reputed replacement parts dealer, talks about the much-awaited car from the arsenal of Tata- the Nexon.

If the buzz in the auto market is to be believed, Tata Motors is all set to launch the Nexon, before the launch of the Kite 5 Sedan. SUVs have been the trend of the season, and it seems that the auto giant is going to launch this compact SUV, keeping in tandem with the market requirements. Talking about the specs of the car, the CEO of BP Auto Spares India, a renowned dealer of Tata parts in the country, throws some light on the car’s possible impact on the Indian market.

He began by giving an introduction of the car, “The Nixon, which was first showcased as a concept car at the Auto Expo 2014 held in New Delhi, is set to be launched before the end of this year. The car borrows a lot from the earlier hatchbacks produced by the company. Nevertheless, it has also brought in some improvisations. The X1 platform, which is also shared by the upcoming Tiago, is going to be the base of this car.”

The CEO of the Tata indigo parts dealing company seemed especially interested in the looks of the vehicle, which he thinks will be quite appealing. “Probably the one thing that everyone in the car circuit is looking forward to is the look of the car, particularly with Tata’s offer of customization options. This is the first-of-its-kind offer, which may enable customers to make their choice in terms of exclusive colour combinations” he added.

He also mentioned about the performance front. “When it comes to cars from Tata, it’s not just about glitz and glamour. The power and performance are given equal consideration. The Nexon, expected to be available in both petrol and diesel variants, will come with 89 bhp and 108 bhp power respectively. The mileage, which is a big factor in the Indian market, is likely to be around 18 kmpl for the petrol variant and 23 kmpl for the diesel one,” he said. “When launched, the Nexon will take the likes of Ford Ecosport, TUV300 Mahindra, and other vehicles in the segment head on,” the CEO assured.

On an ending note, he made the assurance that those who are planning to buy the car need not worry about the availability of its spare parts. “Our company is dedicated towards the varied requirements of car owners. A stock of Tata Spare Parts has been always readily available with us, and hence, it should not be any reason of concern for prospective buyers of the car.”
