Bookpeels Gives E-Reader Owners A Way to Express Themselves

Announcement of Bookpeels launch of its website and online store

Bookpeels announces the launch of its website and online store. Bookpeels provides art pieces that e-reader device owners proudly display on the back of their devices. Customers can show the book they are currently reading, a book they like or what they want others to thinks they are reading.

What is a Bookpeel? A Bookpeel is a sticker with a mild adhesive that can remain on an e-reader as long as you want, but can also be easily removed.

As e-reader sales soar, book reading is becoming an increasingly anonymous activity. And as more and more books are read electronically, Bookpeels will keep the tradition of book covers and book cover art alive.

"When you are reading a book on an e-reader, people around you only see the plain, plastic back of your device. Instead they should see a cool book cover, like in the old days when people read actual books. There is a solution to this dilemma," said John Arterberry, co-founder of Bookpeels.

Bookpeels will also help well-read singles get together, according to co-founder Will Perkins, "How else can you show off your great taste in books?" Bookpeels are the perfect conversation starter in coffee shops, while riding the train, and at the beach. You can also pretend you are reading Shakespeare when you are really reading a romance novel or surfing the internet.

Bookpeels currently features designs of classic novels such as War and Peace, The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, and Don Quixote, but will expand its offering and continuously add new designs. These designs can be ordered from the online store, and there is free shipping to anywhere in the US. Instructional videos for application and removal of a Bookpeel can also be found on the website. Bookpeels also encourages its customers to submit suggestions of what upcoming designs should be.
