Blyncsy Partners With Summit Design and Engineering Services to Bring Artificial Intelligence to Our Roadways

AI and imagery to bring automated maintenance detections on roadways

Summit Design and Engineering Services and Blyncsy are partnering to roll out the use of AI-powered computer vision on roadways. Blyncsy's Payver technology and Summit's insights will allow a smart and streamlined process for Departments of Transportation, cities, local governments and other agencies to collect data on safety-critical transportation assets and to extend the useful life of their infrastructure quickly and efficiently.

Summit Design and Engineering Services offers a variety of Maintenance Management services including pavement condition assessments and asset management. Payver will be used to collect data and insights on pavement conditions and streamline all of this data onto one platform.

Blyncsy's Payver technology utilizes crowdsourced images from dash cameras that are already inside thousands of cars on our roadways. By uploading and segmenting images using machine learning algorithms, Payver is able to automatically detect anything from pavement cracking to paint-line degradation. Payver will automatically and passively provide scores on segments of roadways, giving users actionable insights. This AI technology is able to detect anything the human eye can see and send insights directly to an agency's work flow, giving clients a high level of situational awareness into the condition of their roadways.

Summit Design and Engineering Services offers clients the most current technology and this new partnership with Blyncsy is proof of this.

"We are excited to be partnering with a company that truly wants the best for their customers and understands that this requires investing in innovative and groundbreaking technologies. Ultimately, it's these kinds of investments that will get our clients their data faster and increase the safety of our roads," said Mark Pittman, founder and CEO of Blyncsy.

This partnership will allow for smarter and more efficient transportation management for the drivers of tomorrow.
