BluSky Rakers Classic Event Raises $105,000 for Miller Laboratory in St. Louis
The funds raised during BluSky's annual philanthropic event support research efforts by Washington University School of Medicine's Miller Lab.
ST. LOUIS, November 12, 2021 (Newswire.com) - BluSky Restoration Contractors, LLC announces its most recent gift through the fourth-annual Rakers Classic charity golf tournament, which raised $105,000 toward research at Miller Lab. As part of the Washington University School of Medicine's department of neurology, Miller Laboratory dedicates its efforts to understanding neurodegenerative diseases such as dementia and ALS. BluSky Restoration Contractors, LLC is a national leader in property restoration.
The annual Rakers Classic golf tournament was created as a fundraiser for BluSky's Lyle Rakers Charitable Foundation, established in 2018 in response to one of its team members' diagnoses with a rare form of ALS. Since then, BluSky has continued to raise funds to support Washington University's Neurological Department and relieve funding gaps plaguing one of the nation's top research facilities.

To date, BluSky's annual Rakers Classic has raised a total of $321,000 for the Miller Lab.
