Blackhead Removal The Safe Way

If you are plagued by blackheads, and squeezing them is only making the problem worse, try this natural solution. Doing this simple, and quick routine daily for a week or two will significantly improve your blackhead problem.

You should never undertake blackhead removal by squeezing them with your fingers, no matter how pleasurable you may find it! This is because you will do untold damage to your skin, and make things much worse for yourself. Every type of acne requires sensitive treatment.

So, if squeezing is a non-starter, which blackhead extraction method should you use? Well, my advice is to use the following natural blackhead treatment once per day until your blackheads have cleared up.

Natural Blackhead Treatment:

1. Have a five minute facial steam bath. You can do this without any special equipment by simply filling your bathroom sink with steaming hot water, adding a few drops of tea tree oil to the water, placing a towel over your head to form a hood, and placing your face a comfortable distance away from the hot water.

2. After the facial steam bath, quickly rinse your face with cool water.

3. Quickly, whilst your skin is still soft and warm, and your pores are open, cleanse your skin with organic tea tree oil soap. The correct way to do this is to gently rub the soap into your face using small circular motions, until you have formed a rich lather. Obviously, try to avoid getting any soap in your eyes.

4. Allow the lather to sit on your face for one or two minutes, before you rinse it off with tepid water.

5. Add a small amount of water to one tablespoon of a baking soda mixture (i.e. one cup of baking soda, three tablespoons of table salt, and one tablespoon of baking powder) to create a slightly gritty paste. Again, use gentle circular strokes to rub this paste into your skin for a couple of minutes, before you rinse it off with cool water.

6. Using gentle circular motions, apply aloe vera gel to your skin. This gel is a very soothing skin moisturizer, which has the added benefit of containing anti-fungal, and anti-bacterial properties, which will help to prevent the acne bacteria in your blackheads from spreading across your skin.

Ongoing healthy skin maintenance:

Once the above routine has enabled you to achieve blackhead free skin, you should switch to a daily healthy skin maintenance plan. To do this, all you need to do is continue to follow the blackhead removal treatment above, but without step 5. Then, every couple of weeks, include step 5 as well. It's as simple as that!
