Bixby Zane Donates More Than $94,000 to Local Communities

Bixby Zane, a leading broker for Professional Employer Organizations (PEOs) that specialize in high-risk sectors, proudly donated $94,165 to support local organizations throughout the cities in which they live and work. Giving back to their community and to their business partners through the Hardhat Giveback program is part of the culture of Bixby Zane.

In 2016, Bixby Zane primarily focused its support on organizations that provide services and opportunities for at-risk and underserved youth, in addition to other national charities. Among the recipients is Voices for Children, which received $20,000. Voices For Children is an organization that provides advocacy for foster children by recruiting, training and empowering volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) who provide voices and mentorship to children who may otherwise be lost within the system.

"This organization is very near and dear to my heart as I have been a CASA for over 3 years and I understand how badly these kids need CASAs to help navigate them through a seemingly impossible life."

LifeWorks Austin, which provides support, housing and services for children and families who are homeless, also received $20,000. This donation helps LifeWorks continue to shelter homeless youth and their families in the Austin area and provide them meaningful tools and opportunities to return to self-sufficiency.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas (BBBS) was the recipient of $30,000 from Bixby Zane. This organization provides mentorship and positive adult influence for at risk youth. BBBS volunteers provide encouragement and stability, helping them through their most formative years.
