Bitcoins the New Hope for Small Charities as Bitcoin-A-Thon for A Slice of Hope Kicks Off

With the new digital currency market, small charities like A Slice Of Hope have a larger pool of donors to help better reach their goals.

On Monday, August 18th, 2014 at Satoshi Square, non-profit organization A Slice Of Hope will celebrate their commencement of digital currency donations during their very first “Bitcoin-A-Thon for Hope.”

“Bitcoins are a mystery for most charities,” said Obaid Kadwani, Founder of A Slice of Hope.  “It is scary to figure out how Bitcoins work and how they can be used. At the Bitcoin-a-thon for Hope, individuals as well as organizations can see how easy it can be.”

With the new digital currency market, small charities like A Slice Of Hope have a larger pool of donors to help better reach their goals. A Slice Of Hope works to feed the body and the soul by creating uplifting celebrations and motivations; offering at hot meal, entertainment, and support to individuals in homeless shelters.

Enjoy a celebration of free pizza, live music, dancing, and an open bar. 

A Slice of Hope- is a nonprofit organization that seeks to bring awareness and solution to the "hunger epidemic" right here in the US. A Slice of Hope, founded by actor Obaid Kadwani, organizes grassroots events throughout the country to support and honor the efforts of local food banks and shelters working in their communities to combat the growing tide of US poverty, homelessness and hunger.
