BioBridges Announces Corporate Sponsorship of Battle of the Biotech Bands

BioBridges, a Career Portfolio® Management company providing integrated services to the life sciences community, is excited to announce its corporate sponsorship of the upcoming fourth annual Battle of the Biotech Bands (BoBB). Proceeds from the event will benefit charitable foundations affiliated with each band.

"BioBridges is delighted to return once again as a sponsor of the Battle of the Biotech Bands," said Jason Falchuk, BioBridges Founding Partner. "Our life sciences community is made up of brilliant, inspiring people working together to develop breakthrough therapies. Music also unites, inspires, and heals. If I had to choose only one event that captures the pulse of our exceptional community, this is it."

The 2017 band line-up will include: Aural Gavage (Momenta Pharmaceuticals), Led Zymmelin (Sanofi Genzyme), LifeSize (GE Healthcare Life Sciences), and Semi Good Lookin’ (Blueprint Medicines, Aquinnah Pharmaceuticals, and Harmonic Lab Solutions). The event is part of Biotech Week Boston and will be judged by Charlie Farren, Carter Alan, and Amanda Carr.

"We are thrilled to be putting the Battle of the Biotech Bands on for its fourth year, especially now as a part of Biotech Week Boston,” said Carly Bassett, Event Co-Chair, Battle of the Biotech Bands. "With so many other networking events out there, this one is truly distinctive. The Battle gives talented members of the biotech industry the opportunity to step out from behind the science and stand at the forefront – showcasing their musical side. Everyone comes together to have fun, support the charity organizations of each band, and network with leaders in the life sciences, design, and construction industries. The continued support of our outstanding sponsors makes this charitable event possible, and for that, we are incredibly thankful.”

Biotech Week Bostons’ Festival Director, Tamsin Aspinall, adds, “Biotech Week Boston is a celebration of this fantastic city and its position as the preeminent hub for biopharma innovation in the US. We couldn’t be more excited and proud to have Battle of the Biotech Bands as part of it. Not only is it a unique and fun way to celebrate with the community that drives this innovation, but it also raises funds for organizations who are at the forefront of therapeutic research and patient advocacy. We thank our sponsors for helping us to make this possible."

Battle of the Biotech Bands will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2017, from 7-10 p.m. (doors open at 6:30 p.m.) at Royale Nightclub, 279 Tremont Street, Boston. For more information, please visit www.battleofthebiotechbands.com.
