BHM Launches Nationwide Recruitment for Peer Review Psychiatrists

Those with a clinical specialty in child psychiatry/psychology are especially in demand. In order to meet these rising demands and state-specific licensure requirements, BHM is recruiting Psychiatrists for physician advisor services. The states in which we have the greatest immediate need include: Texas, North Carolina, Kentucky, Georgia, South Carolina, Washington, Massachusetts, and Missouri. BHM welcomes Psychiatrists who are licensed in other states as well. BHM is also recruiting for medical doctors who are licensed in Florida.
To provide the most efficient peer review process, BHM implemented a state-of-the-art portal system. The system provides a completely automated mechanism which:
• Enables our clients to upload reviews and any documentation
Provides a mechanism for the reviews to be assigned to a reviewer with the case-specific expertise required
• Enables the reviewer to review the case, document the findings and cite the specific medical necessity criteria upon which the findings were made
• Provides automatic notification to the client upon completion of the case
• Complies with all URAC accreditation standards for IROs including time frames for standard and expedited reviews, HIPAA compliance, medical necessity, free from conflict of interest
• Ensures ease of use for physician advisors
