BeyondEdge™ Professional Service Unit Assists Clients in Migrating Existing LANs to Software Defined Networks
Case studies show up to a 75% reduction in OPEX spending after migrating to SD-LAN.
RICHARDSON, Texas, March 30, 2022 (Newswire.com) - BeyondEdge Networks, Inc., developer of the industry's only multi-vendor Software Defined LAN (SD-LAN), announced today the formation of a professional services arm that will provide turnkey solutions to companies that migrate from hardware-centric, vendor-locked LANs to SD-LAN. The solution offers levels of network automation, security, flexibility, and efficiency previously not available in a multi-technology environment.
The new unit, BeyondEdge Network Services (BENS), will be headed by Ken Lewis, its SVP of Solution Design and Integration. "Ken is the right guy to lead our professional services business because he brings rich experience with deep technology understanding and how it affects our customers," commented Amir Elbaz, CEO of BeyondEdge. BENS will provide an unparalleled level of service to organizations who want to accelerate their digital transformation and realize that networks are the heart of this process. Those networks of the future need to be fully automated, secure, agile, but also cost-effective. They should be inclusive of all types of hardware and technologies, something that most of the current OEMs in this space haven't been supporting.
"Our goal is to offer our clients a hassle-free experience when they deploy our industry-unique management platform. This process will not cause any interruption to service and requires zero spend on new hardware. We will use our powerful software solutions and automation tools to complete migration in days, not weeks or months, with no forklift upgrades of the past - a true white glove experience," commented Lewis. "During the migration process we create a digital twin of the client's LAN with a Google Maps™- like visualization that highlights configuration and other network issues. The digital twin is then linked to the underlying hardware and is used to simulate and then perform corrections as part of our Network Hygiene process."
In the past two years, BeyondEdge's SD-LAN gained significant momentum and onboarded hundreds of new clients and networks as corporations are looking for automated, secure, and cost-effective ways to manage and upgrade their networks.
