Best Comedy Blog Post Category Suspended from 2014 The Public Blogger Awards Show

In its 3rd year in existence, controversy strikes and takes a toll on the small, but respected 2014 Thepublicblogger Awards Show, as the Best Comedy blog post category has been suspended indefinitely.

The 2014 Thepublicblogger Awards Show - hosted by The Neighborhood at Kendall F. Person, thepublogger - an original, online performance art house collaborative of visual, recording & written-word artists - has its field of talented nominees reduced by seven, as the Best Comedy blog post has been suspeneded indefinetly, amid a breach of the Judges Voting Guidelines.  It is not known how the password secured post, which carries the rules on how each of the six category's judges were to carry out the final voting to arrive at the winning post. The Neighborhood is still analyzing what happened, but they are confident only the comedy category was affected. "We are a small voice, but we try very hard to remain a respected voice." stated The Neighborhood creator and main writer, Kendall F. Person who is also known as thepublicblogger.

Each of the nominees has been personally notified, and to date, the fallout has been contained. "You are a one-of-a-kind blogging presence. It will work out." stated Stephanie Mark Lewis, nominated for the comedic post "I'll Have the Menopasta w/side of Heatballs, please!"

The five remaining categories include Song of the Year with underground powerhouse Crosses and Detroit's two-time nominee Hussle Crowe in one of the night's biggest clashes; Best Self-Help post, Best Poetry/Spiritual Healing blog or post, Best Visual Art Piece and Best Post of the Year, in which Ghana's andyonandy's spoken-word, history lesson "When the War Came to Ghana' has been deemed the early favorite. Two of Philadelphia's underground artists will also be honored, IvySoul Robinson, recording arts, and Nafiys Walters aka Fran Daddy, multi artist platform, with the prestigious The Neighborhood Award, given to the resident artists whose contributions have been most impactful in the growth and vitality of The Neighborhood.
