The Model 290 features many new advancements including: a removable press plate, a juice tray attachment clip, a retro housing design, motor seal technology, a redesigned press chamber cover, a new housing attachment knob, improved machine ventilation, an advanced electrical system with an enhanced safety interlock design and a power entry module (PEM) with removable electrical cord.

The Model 290 is a combination of two machines, a Vortex Cutter and Hydraulic Press, which share the same body and are powered by the same motor. The Vortex Cutter ensures complete cutting and grinding while the Hydraulic Press extracts nutrients from the pulp.
