Bentley World-Packaging Sells Pennsylvania, Ohio Locations
Company focused on growing high-value services
Milwaukee, WI, June 20, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Bentley World-Packaging, the Wisconsin-based global packaging and shipping firm, is announcing the sale of its Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Cincinnati locations as part of a plan to focus efforts on providing higher-value services to its key customers in the Midwest and on the East Coast.
Bentley World-Packaging has agreed to sell the locations to Indiana-based Deufol Sunman LLC, a division of German parent company Deufol SE.
Todd Bentley, President, said the sale of these locations is part of the company’s long-term strategy to focus energies on its key customers and highly sought-after capabilities, which include expanding parts distribution, kitting and packaging centers for the on- & off-road equipment, industrial and military markets.
“We are focused on the future,” Bentley said. “While we will continue to serve the needs of our customers nationwide, our intent is to focus on our Midwest and East Coast markets.”
Bentley World-Packaging will continue to own and operate full-service facilities in Wisconsin and Maryland. Beyond the company's core expertise in providing custom packaging solutions to various commercial and industrial goods markets, Bentley World-Packaging will continue its 70 plus year history of serving a variety of specialized military markets. Bentley will also continue to offer the SnapCrate product line — a collapsible, cost-effective crating system made of wood packaging material, and an in-house packaging testing lab in Milwaukee.
Bentley World-Packaging was advised on this transaction by Godfrey & Kahn and Milwaukee-based Promontory Point Capital.
