BenQ Launches EX2780Q FreeSync Gaming Monitor With HDRi Display, USB-C Connectivity and Superior Audio and Sound

New 27-inch Monitor Creates Immersive Entertainment with Smoother Gaming, Enhanced Audio/Visual Effects, and Customized Accessibility

BenQ America Corp., a global leader in display technology and solutions, announces its latest flagship monitor EX2780Q. Designed for gaming and entertainment, EX2780Q is equipped to create a fully immersive video and gaming experience. Keeping with BenQ’s tradition of innovation, EX2780Q debuts HDRi technology, which enhances screen content for new levels of realism and smooth images. The 27-inch QHD monitor also features 2.1 channel audio and all the depth of sound offered by a subwoofer.

Featuring FreeSync and 144Hz refresh rate, the EX2780Q creates a smooth gaming experience that reduces tearing and blurred images. Another game-changing feature is HDRi technology. HDRi is achieved by blending HDR with BenQ proprietary Brightness Intelligence Plus adaptive tech. HDR delivers broad-spectrum color and contrast. Brightness Intelligence Plus adjusts screen brightness based on ambient lighting and screen content. Combined, they deliver unparalleled visual experiences. Add in BenQ Black eQualizer which, when turned on, improves visibility in dark areas of game or video content, and EX2780Q delivers the ideal viewing experience.

Along with these new visual effects, EX2780Q incorporates superior 2.1 channel audio and custom sound modes. The introduction of a Digital Signal Processor (DSP) chip empowers users to customize their audio. The monitor offers five audio options, accessed on the On Screen Display (OSD): Game, Cinema, Pop/Live, Dialog/Vocal, and Rock/Party.

Designed with the end user in mind, EX2780Q is thoughtfully appointed. Easily access the monitor’s settings via new tools. The remote control provides ultimate access from anywhere in the room. A five-key navigator offers a one-stop-shop to access all of the monitor’s settings and a convenient volume wheel, located on the front of the monitor, lets users quickly change the volume of the entertainment based on their preferences.

EX2780Q is built for extended gaming and viewing experiences, so BenQ also turned an eye toward eye care. This display comes equipped with ZeroFlicker™ and Low Blue Light Mode. These features support healthy viewing and help reduce eye strain, fatigue and other harmful effects of prolonged screen time.

Rounded out with features like USB-C connectivity, 24P video support, 10-bit color, 95% DCI-P3 coverage, and Color Vibrance screen enhancement, this monitor has it all. Sleek design, VESA cover/mounting, and integrated cord management make this workhorse look like a rock star.

“We’re excited to be able to provide consumers with the ultimate entertainment monitor,” said Steve Yang, senior director at BenQ America Corp. “With new, game-changing features for any type of entertainment or gaming enthusiast, this new model will become the king of entertainment and will overall enhance the user experience.”

The BenQ EX2780Q monitor is now available for a retail price of $599.99. For additional information, visit https://www.benq.com/en-us/monitor/gaming/ex2780q.html
