Belmont Financial Group Holds Charity Event in Hong Kong

Central, Hong Kong, October 15, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Belmont Financial Group have recently held a fund-raising event at Hong Kong Park, 19 Cotton Tree Drive, Central, Hong Kong Island, in aid of Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centre, over the course of the weekend. Amongst the attractions there were and abundance of fairground rides, concession stands, hot and cold food, and various stage shows.

Speaking on the event, Senior VP Michael Bell said, “We are delighted with the support we have received from the local and wider community in aid of such a notable charity. The work they do for all people affected by cancer, including patients, families and friends, is highly commendable.”

The total donation was HK $124,973.25 (US $16,125.47).

 Maggie’s Centre is a place specially designed for people affected by cancer to find hope, support and peace. Maggie’s aim is to empower anyone affected by cancer, including families and friends, to live with, through and beyond the illness regardless of their journey stage.
