Online, April 21, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Riverview Club -- Westchester's premier waterfront condominium located in Greystone -- will be hosting a not-to-be missed free homebuyer's seminar.
The one-time only informational event, "Become A Smarter Homebuyer," will feature a panel of experts offering attendees insider tips on topics ranging from: how to secure the right mortgage to strategies for decorating one's home on a budget.
The panel will include Michael Wolfe, Sales Manager of the Westchester branch of Wells Fargo; Gay Prizio, Director of Project Marketing at Houlihan Lawrence, Alba Guevara, Director of Community Development for the City of Yonkers and Georgene Mongarella, professional stager, interior decorator, and founder of The Color Schemer, Ltd., a popular interior design store in Scarsdale.
Wolfe will provide information all future homebuyer should be aware of, covering the financing market, different types of loans, tax advantages of purchasing a home and the do's and don'ts to improving one's credit.
Prizio will give potential homebuyers insight into the local real estate market in Westchester while Guerra will focus on the downtown waterfront in Yonkers including the area's current development projects and those in the pipeline.
Finally, all attendees will also walk away with valuable advice on how to decorate their new homes on a budget. Mongarella of The Color Schemer, featured in Westchester Magazine's 2011 Home issue, will share her design experiences, and also address staging questions for those who are preparing to sell a property.
