Babyplants New Range for 2014
Online, January 12, 2014 (Newswire.com) - After a successful year in 2013, Babyplants.co.uk are fully stocked and ready for the new season, with new varieties across the range, and some exciting new "Collections" that will help inspire gardeners to try new combinations in their garden displays this year.
"This will be our busiest year yet, we are really excited to get going again, as the plugs are looking even better than last year," said Emma from Babyplants.
"We are just hoping for the spring frost to be over quickly, so the plants can make the most of the beautiful spring sunshine."
Positive feedback that the website received last year, included many customers who had been let down by other providers.
"The geranium plants arrived in excellent condition. The packaging is the best we have received (when compared) to other dealers. We will use you again".
One of the major issues about ordering plants online, is not knowing the true colour of the flowers, as many stock photos can be very misleading.
Emma explained the steps Babyplants.co.uk are taking to solve this.
"We realise that many manufacturers photos, especially of bedding plants, can be very misleading. That's why we (Babyplants) took the steps to photograph every plant in our range in 2013, ensuring that our photos on the website, are 100% accurate, so the customer can really create their ideal hanging basket displays, in the colours they really want."
While viewing reviews of online plant retailers, one of the main issues appears to be the quality of packaging. In a 2012 Which? survey, it found 36% of customers using online plant retailers had had problems. A survey which found Thompson and Morgan, J Parker's, and Van Meuwen to be in the bottom 25% of satisfaction scores.

Emma from Babyplants explained how they were taking steps to keep their products safe during transit.
"We noticed a large amount of customers online have had issues with poor quality packaging, so we have taken steps to make ours some of the best in the market."
"We use specifically designed blister packets, that fit perfectly over the edge of our plug plants, and prevent them moving during the delivery process. Combining that with a triple walled cardboard boxes, reinforced to provide protection against the most brutal knocks and bumps, we feel our packaging is really the best out there at the moment."
Babyplants received 100% positive feedback in 2013, and are hoping to emulate that record in the coming year.
