Unigene Media: Awakening With Autistic Children in the 3rd Shanghai Public Welfare
SHANGHAI, June 19, 2018 (Newswire.com) - On June 17, 2018, the third “Appointment with Star - Public Welfare: Attention to Autistic Children” was held successfully in the Jincai Experimental School. Autistic children are often referred to as "star's children" because they live in their world, like lonely stars over the horizon. Not many people in the society know and tolerate them, so these special children especially need love. Many organizations and public welfare people contributed to these "stars” during this activity on father's day, in which every child involved felt loved.
At the end of the event, we interviewed the organizers and several partners of the game. "The most significant thing is that normal children and normal families, after seeing the difference in the world, can see that they are fortunate," Said Mrs. Quan, “This event also let the special group of autistic children feel that they are not alone; we are together with them." Furthermore, the representative from the UC Berkeley Chinese Shanghai Alumni Association and the Carnegie Mellon University Shanghai Alumni Association said in the interview: "This event also enabled high schools, for example, to serve as volunteers, participate in and plan activities. This is an opportunity for them to go into the society to help someone else." Besides, representatives from the WABC Association and the chief executive of the Zhanyi Children's Mental Health Centre also took part in the interview and mentioned that a lot of people offered help and are deeply touched by the event. They also hope to have more people taking action in caring for autistic children.

For this fundraising gala, Ziyue brought a new theme song "Awakening," which demonstrated the difficulties in the lives of autistic children and his wish for their optimistic attitude towards hope.
"Awakening" was composed by the famous French artist VALSO. The Chinese lyrics was written by Huiquan Zhang and Ziyue Zhou and was sang by Ziyue Zhou. After the gala, the reporter had an interview with Ziyue.
Reporter: "Please briefly introduce yourself."
Ziyue: "Hello, everyone. I am Ziyue Zhou, a student from class 4, grade 11, Shanghai Foreign Language School."
Reporter: "During this gala, you showed us an original song. What is the song about?"
Ziyue: "This is a song of public-service. It is written for the children in need of help, to express encouragement, support, and hope for them."
Reporter: "Why is this song called 'awakening'?"
Ziyue: "As expressed in the lyrics, the night and dusk depict predicament, while the dawn and early morning reveals the help we give and the hope they can feel."
Reporter: "What’s your opinion towards this gala? How do you feel?"
Ziyue: "I think it is a beautiful activity. The kids seemed to be very happy, and I felt the joy too. There were many people, many excellent performances, and the charity sales were of course fantastic."
Lin Yuanshang led the children to dance and play together in the charity carnival of Public Welfare Attention to Autistic Kids. After that, Unigene Media was lucky enough to interview him.
Reporter: "Please briefly introduce yourself."
Lin: "I’m Lin Yuanshang. When I was 11 years old, I entered the Beijing Opera house in China and began to learn Beijing Opera. I was a Taiwanese, and I was singing in Taiwan. I have always been a state of coming out and not coming out. In such an environment, as people say, the opposite is true. Too much, that is, when a lot of time absorbs you, will think, why can't this thing go on, why not from the past to now and the future of such a line to go, why in Chinese opera, no one is to create. When I was thinking about so many things, the opposite was exact. I went to modern dance. It was a precious time. I came to France and Europe. I realized my nature when I was working as a busker and performing in the street. Everyone has a natural environment of his own, how to release this nature back to his. So I made the modern dance, from the beginning of the body, you will find a lot of traditional Chinese elements can be different, in the past and present different environment can change, please us."
Reporter: "In this charity activity, we have seen you play with the kids and bring them a lot of happiness to them. In what way? And what are the features of this project? What are the reasons for using white cloth and cushions under it?"
Lin: "It’s not unique but straightforward. I think we should know that dancing is very happy. In the process of dancing, the rhythm makes you learn to breathe. When this happens, you will find that you need another space, another space that will protect your heart. How to tolerate a soft heart? A piece of cloth, when it floats, it becomes a wave. When gently shaking, that piece of the waves is low, but gradually, the ripples from small to medium to high waves rolling, roaring... wave gives you a sense of touch. We need to protect our children, especially the children of the stars. Let them feel free."
