Avamere at Sherwood Hosts Free Drive-Thru BBQ for Essential Workers
SHERWOOD, Ore., April 27, 2020 (Newswire.com) - Avamere at Sherwood, an assisted living and memory care community, is giving a big "thank you" to essential workers in the Sherwood, Oregon area with a free drive-thru BBQ lunch.
The drive-thru is open May 8, 2020 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Essential workers can drive by the main entrance at Avamere at Sherwood for their free lunch as a "thank you" from staff and residents.
"Essential workers are true heroes," said Kristal Coleman, Avamere at Sherwood's Executive Director. "This is our humble way of letting them know how much we appreciate their service during this crucial time."
The BBQ lunch includes hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, fresh fruit, and soda.
