Autumn Winds Living & Rehabilitation Hires Charlie Alonzo as New Administrator

Autumn Winds Living & Rehabilitation is pleased to announce that Charlie Alonzo is the facility’s new Administrator.

Charlie has a long history of caring and providing for others. He started as a social worker, and in 2000 he completed training to become a Licensed Nursing Facility Administrator. He will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring that all is running smoothly at the skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. He will work directly with employees, residents, their family members, and the Schertz community to make sure each resident is getting the best care possible.  

"I hope to put my knowledge, experience and expertise to good use and give the residents the care they deserve. I also want to ensure that the staff have all the tools they need to be successful. That's my number one priority while in this position."

Charlie said he is looking forward to working with a lot of talented and passionate staff and is excited to get to know the residents and give them the utmost attention. “I am happy to be joining the Autumn Winds family because we all share a common passion – caring for people,” Charlie said. “I hope to put my knowledge, experience and expertise to good use and give the residents the care they deserve. I also want to ensure that the staff have all the tools they need to be successful. That’s my number one priority while in this position.”

Billie Dean, Director of Nursing at the facility, said she feels that Charlie will be a great addition to the Autumn Winds team. She said she has worked with Charlie in the past and they have seen success. “His skills combined with his compassion for people are really what will contribute to the success of the facility and the well-being of our residents,” Billie said. “He lifts the staff higher and encourages them to believe in the work they’re doing.”
