Online, November 5, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Established in 2013, ASAMA provides Software Asset Management (SAM) information, knowledge, education and networks to the Australian Information Technology (IT) community. The association was established by Terry Green and Elizabeth Sherwin who are experienced SAM practitioners in the design, development, implementation of SAM programs. These programs have achieved hundreds of millions of dollars in savings and established enduring strategies, processes and operating procedures to maintain and achieve future savings.
ASAMA seeks to enable the SAM community to collaborate and improve its skills and knowledge through information sharing, ASAMA's SAM expert practitioners and education programs. ASAMA's mission is to provide to SAM professionals the information for best practice and continuous improvement. Together with a community for SAM professionals to learn, share and develop as individuals and as organisational representatives.
