Audi Launches First Showroom in Jharkhand

India, February 24, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Audi, Germany’s most famous luxury car manufacturer has inaugurated ‘Audi Ranchi’, its first ever showroom in Jharkhand.

The world-class ‘Audi Ranchi’ showroom will showcase the entire ‘Audi India’ model range in it. It was inaugurated by Mr. Joe King, Head of Audi India, Mr. Sandip Bajaj the Managing Director of Audi Ranchi and ‘Audi Kolkata’ managed by Mohan Motors (P) Ltd.

Audi Ranchi is located on the Purulia road and is spread over an area of about 12,000 square feet. It has a honeycomb-aluminum facade on the exterior. It has a display area which showcases 8 Audi cars. Audi Ranchi will also run an ‘Audi Shop’ where customers can purchase a variety of Audi-branded merchandise. The showroom is also equipped with a handover area where customers can get their new car handed over to them in style.

A senior official of BP Auto Spares India commented that. ‘Audi is strategically placing an increasing number of showrooms across important locations in all tier II cities. By the end of this year, Audi also intends to open several dealerships in Madurai and Rajkot in order to further support Indian consumers’ demands of luxury car markets in India.’

Audi Ranchi will also have a very exclusive ‘Audi service facility’within the same premises. The workshop is laid out in an area of 7,500 square feet and can service about 6 cars per day. The body and paint shop will provide customers a complete solution for getting their cars repainted.

Audi achieved a new sales record by registering a sale of exactly 10851 units last year in 2014 which marks the 7th successive year of growth for them. Only last year did they become the first ever luxury car manufacturer in India to achieve sales of 10,000+ units in a calendar year.
