Attorney William Mattar Announces Pet Photo Contest Winner
We are pleased to announce that MacKenzie, a long-haired Chihuahua, is the grand prize winner of the William Mattar Rescue a Shelter Animal Pet Photo Contest. The winning photo was submitted by MacKenzie's owner Sue Rogers.
BUFFALO, N.Y., December 12, 2019 (Newswire.com) - We are pleased to announce that MacKenzie, a long-haired Chihuahua, is the grand prize winner of the William Mattar Rescue a Shelter Animal Pet Photo Contest. The winning photo was submitted by MacKenzie’s owner Sue Rogers.
“Our pet photo contest was a huge success this year, and we are so pleased by the support we received from the community. With 130 pet photo entries and 4,121 votes logged on our pet photo contest page at williammattar.com, this year’s contest was a huge success. We are already looking forward to hosting next year’s pet photo contest,” said William Mattar.
In November 2019, the public submitted their pet(s) photos for a chance to win a donation to an animal shelter or rescue group of their choice. MacKenzie dominated the contest with 1,296 votes.
As the grand prize winner, MacKenzie and her owner Sue Rogers have chosen the Mia Foundation to receive a monetary donation on behalf of William Mattar law offices. The Mia Foundation has rescued and helped hundreds of animals that otherwise would have been euthanized at birth due to severe birth defects. Animals rescued by the Mia Foundation are placed in foster homes where they can receive special care.
William Mattar’s Rescue a Shelter Animal Pet Photo Contest received an overwhelming number of photo entries this year. William Mattar would like to thank everyone who participated and helped bring awareness to animals in need.
